The BAL assignment is a learning opportunity to understand how to create and maintain a check register. It demonstrates the twenty first century skill of financial, economic, and business literacy because during the course of this assignment I was enhancing my basic understanding of today’s economy. By creating my own check register and learning how it all works.
I am most proud of that fact I understood what is needed to balances checks and how to confirm this on google spreadsheets. This assignment was especially confusing to me and I am proud that I was able to understand what is required and how to display what I have learned.
Throughout this assignment I developed upon this twenty first century skill of financial, economic, and business literacy by learning how to write a check, balance it and all while maintaining a check register on a acessible online tool such as google sheets.
The most difficult part of this task was learning how to use google spreadsheets. I had to take extra time to learn from my peers and google how google spreadsheets works as well as, how to manage/ise it efficiently.
If I could start over this project I would do my calculations correctly and double check them. This is because the messed up on the toal of withdrawals which caused me to mess uo on the total entirely. The correct withdrawal total should be $1,095.27 and I put $1,002.72. My overall total should have been $1,681.18 and not $1,773.3, which is what I calculated.
This assignment does not relate to anything I have learned in the past. How to write a check, how to balance checks, how to maintain a check register and how to use google spreadsheets was all new information to me. I am satisfied that I was able to learn all that I did because before I have had no opportunity to learn how to yet.
I can now apply this to future learning relatign to google sheets, writing, balancing and maintaining check balances, and registers.
