Learning how to code python was part of Ms. Jeanie’s tech class. For this assignment we needed to learn how to read python and type python so that we can apply it by creating our own programs or using it to debug others coding.
This assignment represents the 21st century skill, Information skills because we are learning how to communicate to a computer. First you must learn how to understand Python. Python is a type of coding which is basically its own language. With this understanding I can apply it into the future by communicating with others, debugging computer code, and I will be able to engage myself to be able to understand why my computer isn’t working. I am most proud about the fact that I am able to read and create python programs. This is because creating your own code is a difficult process that takes time and memorization of what each symbol represents and what it is able to do. By working on this assignment I was able to develop my information skills by taking the time to understand the language and memorize how to use python, which will improve my future understanding of learning new languages. The most difficult part of this assignment is to make sure your code works. This is a very important factor of coding because little mistakes can change everything. If I was to do this assignment again I would have found out about the slide shows of each section that way I could gather the material in a more efficient way so that I may have an easier time with the learning process. This relates to scratch coding we have done in the past, which was a more basic and similar type of coding, which helped me comprehend the material better than if I had not. I can apply this to future learning by being able to converse with others, to be able to debug programs, have a better understanding of other types of coding and to be able to apply this to future learning opportunities, all by using python. |
